Page header - A page header or simply header in typography is that material which is separated from the main body of text and appears at the top of a printed page. Page footer - A page footer or simply footer in typography is that material which is separated from the main body of text and appears at the bottom of a printed page. Word processing programs usually provide for the creation and maintenance of page footers, which are often the same from page to page, with merely small differences in information, such as page number.
Page view - A Page view is generally defined as a request to load a single page of an Internet site. On the World Wide Web a page request would result from a web surfer clicking on a link on another HTML page pointing to the page in question.
Page replacement algorithms - In a computer operating system which utilises paging for virtual memory memory management, page replacement algorithms decide what pages to page out (swap out) when a page needs to be allocated. That happens when a page fault occurs and free page cannot be used to satisfy allocation (either because there are none, or because number of free pages is lower than some threshold).
